President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, 1st of August arrived the neighbouring Benin Republic on a one-day trip to draw support for the war against Boko Haram insurgents in the sub-region. During his visit, President Muhammadu Buhari received a ‘Grande Croix Du Benin’ (The Great Cross of Benin) which is the highest honour in Republic of Benin.
Buhari departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 9am on Saturday with Lagos State immediate past Governor, Raji Babatunde Fasola, and other officials. See more photos below:
