Setting Up MTN BIS To Work On Android Phones

First and foremost, you have to configure your phone internet settings to be able to work with the simple server application.</div>

==> Go to settings > More > 
Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > Tap to edit the settings 
you want using the following parameters;</div>

Name : Any name u like<br />
APN : web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net<br />
Proxy : 127.0.0.1<br />
Port : 8080<br />
Username : web<br />
Password : web<br />
Now, save the settings.</div>

==> Navigate to your simple server application. If you haven’t downloaded it, you can download <a href="http://www.datafilehost.com/d/d439b2c7" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Download simple server app for mtn bis">here</a>, and configure as thus;</div>

Listen Port : 8080<br />
Proxy Host : 10.199.212.2<br />
proxy Port : 8080<br />
Enable or disable Proxy is ticked<br />
Injection Method : GET<br />
Injection Query/URL : http://web.blackberry.com<br />
Injection Host : web.blackberry.com<br />
Injection line : Press enter button 4 times and tap on OK<br />
Enable or disable injection is ticked<br />
Log level : Debug</div>

Now, before you tap on the start button 
on Simple Server, make sure you have subscribed to MTN BIS plan. You can
 test run using the daily plan by texting BBCDAY to 21600 and N100 will 
be deducted from your account balance. When successfully subscribed, Tap
 on start on the simple server app. Immediately it starts reading, it 
means it has successfully connected. Now try using and you should 
confirm it working.</div>

<b>Setting Up MTN BIS To Work On Computer</b></div>

==> Download simple server software from <a href="http://www.datafilehost.com/d/59b8af4f" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Download simple server app for mtn bis on computer">HERE</a> (make sure to untick Use our download manager and get recommended downloads before downloading).<br />
==> Extract the downloaded file into any folder on your computer and run the simpler servers.exe file.<br />
==> Make sure you have subscribed to MTN BIS plan and configure your modem internet settings using the following parameters;</div>

Name: anyname you like<br />
APN : web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net<br />
Username and Password : web<br />
Now save and navigate to which ever browser you use. Set the browser connection settings to proxy as 127.0.0.1 and port as 8080.<br />
Connect your modem, connect your simple server and start browsing on your computer using MTN BIS.</div>

<li>Switch on your data connection (H won’t display yet).</li>
<li>Off your Android phone again and remove the SIM (make sure the APN is set to blackberry.net ).</li>
<li>Insert the SIM to BB phone again (make sure it’s on 3G also and it display BB sign beside it)</li>
<li>Browse for some minutes (download if possible)</li>
<li>Then return it back to your Android phone and keep surfing.</li>
